All I can say is MIRACLE!
My kids, my pregnancy, my health, my growing baby...all MIRACLES.
I went in today feeling a little skeptical because lets face it, the last few weeks I have eaten terribly. I had my girls weekend away in Newark and we at out for lunch and dinner and everything in between. Andrew's birthday followed with the exact same schedule. I have managed to fit in a few workouts but they seem to be getting fewer and farther between.
Today my stats were as followed:
Weight gain +1 (total 5 lbs)
BP 118/78 (perfect and normal for me)
Heart Beat 151-154
I am telling you, this baby has blessings surrounding it. I cannot wait to meet him/her. Baby moves constantly--flips and flops every which direction. Babe is never in the same place long. Movement is pretty regular too--usually around 630 am, 900 am, 1130 and then really active around 2pm--very mellow until about 630 or so and then again starts moving around 1130. I haven't really lost sleep (YET) with movement..but man...my hips hurt. Seems to be the way baby is laying or I am misaligned. I don't know.
Kids did not enjoy this appointment though. They kept us waiting for 35 minutes which is way longer than normal. I only had one Leapster as the DS was in hubs car. They were up and moving around and touching everything. Once doc came in though they were very quiet to hear baby. Beckett still refers to the doppler as the thing that hurts his ears and sounds like a train (baby heartbeat).
After the appointment, we got together with my mom and my sister and ate lunch at Chick-Fil-A and then headed to a local park to play for a little. It was hot so we didn't stay long but it was nice for my kids to see their cousins--it doesn't happen too often:( After the park though, we went to grannys to play inside for a bit before heading back home. The kids love it there and I like having some time to talk to my mom.
Only 55 days to go! Can you believe it? I still have sooo much stuff to do though. The nursery isn't even close to being done. Andrew and I got the curtains and rod. I still have to take a sample for the lady that is going to paint the tree in the nursery. I am heading to IKEA this weekend with some girlfriends to shop. I LOVE IKEA. I got a lot there when I bought my first apartment and I've been shopping there since. I hope to find some goodies for the nursery.
More baby updates in two weeks. I go twice through the month of August and then once a week until the baby arrives. :)
