Some people call what I have been doing Nesting...I call it getting what all I have to done--DONE...before this baby comes. Which , by the way, I believe will be sooner rather than later. Baby is sitting very low and every time he/she kicks I fee like my waters may break.
They say that the more active you are toward the end of your pregnancy the better labor will go for you. I haven't been to the gym in a week...A WEEK! This is horrible for me. I'm not trying to pack on the pounds, I assure you and I am still getting weird pregnancy cravings. For instance, I woke up this morning craving grape Koolaid. I had it a few times last summer and it is good, but we haven't had it in the house since. AND...I only buy sugar free stuff which is way more expensive, so I try to limit that kind of stuff. We do always have lemonade though!
But back to the nesting. I have been having some very real pelvic and hip pain. I feel like the sides of my legs are literally separating. Doctor says this is completely normal--I say this because I have not had pain like this in either of my other pregnancies. They way I walk is like an OLD person who can't keep balance and might need a walker in their near future..it cannot even be classified as the pregnancy waddle. Andrew tells me this baby is coming soon and I couldn't agree more. I just need to get through this week..it's close week..which means that if baby #3 decided to come, he couldn't get any time off and would only be there for the birth. This happened with Tatum.
While the kids bathed this week I was up in the nursery. I cleaned all the baby clothes I had 0-3 that wouldn't be too hot or cold for unisex, boys and girls clothes. I have those all in a basket ready to go as I don't have a dresser for this kid yet (long story). I separated all the clothes out by gender. I have all the diapers separated by size and wipes ready to go. We don't use a changing table, but I have all that stuff ready to go as well--upstairs. I still need to get the downstairs set up. Crib is put together. We don't do a whole lot of decor in our nursery (cost) so the walls are bare...but I hope to buy something like this from Etsy once baby is born. I also like this.
We had a surprise baby shower this week from our small group so I have gotten all those items out of the bags and on a sheet so that I can send thank you cards. I think I will try to make them with my cricket if I can find the time. If not, it is to the store I go.
I got the laundry done for the week, trimmed the tree out front, shaved the dog and cut their nails. I got the grocery shopping done and finished the school shopping with maybe the exception of some jeans which I will hopefully shop for on Sunday with Tatum.
Tomorrow we plan to go through all the toys to get those separated out and then hopefully to our last trip to the pool to get some swim time in while daddy is at the library. I still have a ton of things that need to be done...including getting my hospital bag packed!!!! On a great note...though...I HAVE A JOB!!!! This as the week that I was going to find out if I had a job or not to come back to and the hours. I HAVE A JOB!!
Maybe this is a good time to make a list.
*Get out pack and play and set it up in the front room
*Get out changing pad and changing kit for the upstairs and bring down a kit for the downstairs to have handy
*Get the carseat out to install it AND clean Beckett's as he just pee'd in it.
*Clean out the garage
*Bring up the baby swing(s)
*Bouncer
* Pack hospital bag
* Pack up a diaper bag
I feel like there is so much more, but I just can't "think" it right now. I wish I could get some rest (pain when I sleep)...or this would not be such an issue.
My next post???? Probably Tatum's trip to sweet and sassy!!! OR if I don't make it back for that one, it will be (((tear tear)))) the first day of FIRST GRADE....OR...maybe my little three year old sleepwalker:)
Till then!
