Costs associated with a High Dedcuctible Pregnancy

This was the last update I had on the cost of our pregnancy thus far. I would LOVE to have this amount to be my final payment:)

The bills, they are a rolling in! We had been paying the bills as they had come in since we had the cash to do so. Now cash is getting tighter and with some new decisions in our family rolling in, it's also getting a little scary. I have called a few of the places to see if they will accept a payment plan. I fully intend to pay all those bills but man it is a lot!

Here is the breakdown.

As of May I had paid out of our pockets $1231.90. I had paid another installment of my delivery fee (doc didn't even deliver me:)) of $300.00

+30.00 in lab fees
+839.99 for the epidural
+887.00 additional to my doctor (who didn't deliver --we are hoping this is an error and we might receive a refund...)
+690.00 for my fee to the hospital
+130.00 for Finley's hospital stay (co pay finally kicked in)
+30.00 for additional doctor's fee's for Finley for her first day of life!

=3837.00 in out of pocket costs thus far

We aren't even positive if all the bills are in.

Oh well. Finley is worth every single penny! I can't imagine our lives without her! But what fun it will be to look back someday at this post and say "look...its cost us $3900.00 to birth you". Can you imagine the cost when our grandkids will be born???
